Activities Cyprus is a curated directory of over 850 experiences, services, and places across the island – from yacht charters in Ayia Napa to immigration lawyers in Limassol. This guide explains exactly how the site works, how to find what you’re looking for, and how to book activities in Cyprus depending on the type of activity.
Whether you’re planning a holiday, organising a day out as a resident, or researching a move to the island, here’s everything you need to know.
What’s on Activities Cyprus
The directory covers five main categories, each with its own section of the site:
- Sea & Water – boat charters, yacht hire, diving, watersports, fishing trips, glass-bottom boat tours, and sailing experiences across every coastal district
- Gastronomy & Estates – wineries, food tours, microbreweries, wine estates, restaurants, and guided tasting experiences
- Heritage & Artisan – cultural sites, traditional craft workshops, museums, village experiences, and artisan studios
- Wellness & Spas – hotel spas, retreat centres, yoga studios, physiotherapy clinics, beauty salons, and fitness facilities
- Expat Essentials – legal and immigration services, property agencies, healthcare, international schools, and car hire
There’s also a dedicated Tours & Experiences section covering multi-activity operators, jeep safaris, guided tours, and day trip packages.
Finding the right activity
Browse by category
The navigation menu at the top of every page links directly to each category. If you know what type of experience you’re after – a boat trip, a winery visit, a spa day – start there. Each category page lists all relevant operators with their location, a description, and contact details.
Search by district
If you’re based in a particular part of Cyprus – or staying in a specific area – use the district search to filter all listings by location. This works across every category, so you can find everything available near Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, or Nicosia in one view.
Use the search bar
For something specific – a particular operator you’ve heard about, a specific type of experience, or a named village – use the search bar to find it directly. The search covers listing titles, descriptions, and tags across all 850+ entries.
How booking works
Activities Cyprus is a discovery and referral platform – we connect you with operators, we don’t process bookings directly. Depending on the type of listing, there are two ways to book:
Direct contact with the operator
For most listings – local boat captains, family-run wineries, independent wellness studios, craft workshops, and Expat Essentials services – the listing page includes a phone number, website link, or contact form that goes directly to the business. This is the fastest route for enquiries, custom bookings, group rates, and anything that needs a conversation before committing.
Many of the best operators on the island don’t use online booking systems – they prefer a call or a WhatsApp message. The contact details on every listing are verified and kept up to date.
Instant booking via our travel partners
For a growing number of boat tours, jeep safaris, guided excursions, and experience packages, listings include links to verified booking partners – including Viator and GetYourGuide – where you can check real-time availability, read verified reviews from previous visitors, and book instantly with confirmed cancellation policies.
These partner links take you directly to the operator’s page on the booking platform. We do not add any fees or markups – the price you see is the price the operator charges.
A note on how we work. Activities Cyprus is a Cyprus-registered company. When you book through a partner link on our site, we receive a small referral commission from the booking platform – not from the operator, and not from you. This is how we keep the directory free for the hundreds of local businesses listed here. It doesn’t affect the price you pay.
Tips for getting the most out of the directory
Book ahead in summer
July and August are peak season in Cyprus. The best boat charters, food tours, and spa slots fill weeks in advance. If you’re visiting in summer, don’t leave bookings to the last minute – particularly for anything on the water or in a popular coastal resort.
The shoulder seasons are the best-kept secret
May, June, September, and October offer the best combination of warm weather, quieter venues, and more flexible availability. Many operators offer better rates outside peak season, and you’ll often get more personal attention from smaller, family-run businesses.
For Expat Essentials – call first
Legal, property, healthcare, and school listings work differently from experience bookings. For these, use the listing to identify the right professional for your situation, then make contact directly. Many of the firms listed offer a free initial consultation – worth asking when you call.
Know a business that should be listed?
The directory is only as good as the community behind it. If you’ve found a great boat captain, a reliable accountant, a spa that deserves more visitors, or a winery that most people haven’t discovered yet – tell us. Listings are free for local businesses.
